TO ALL THOSE WORLD YOUTH DAY PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE GOING TO VISIT THE CASTLE MUSEUM IN ŁAŃCUT AND THE ULMA FAMILY MUSEUM OF POLES SAVING JEWS IN WORLD WAR II IN MARKOWA ON 21st and 22nd July 2016.

 

Given the need to ensure order and security for WYD visitors to the Łańcut and Markowa Museums, the following rules are to be followed:

 

1. It is the responsibility of the organizers of the visits to the Łańcut and Markowa Museums to set the visiting date (day and time) and the projected number of visitors in agreement with the Castle Museum of Łańcut in advance, by 15th July 2016.

2. Because of the visiting conditions in both Museums (only a limited number of visitors can be admitted at a time), it is necessary that the visitors are divided into groups of 25 people maximum. The groups will be admitted to the Museum every 10 minutes.

 

3. People who wish to visit the Museum on the above days must have WYD participant badges. There will be no admission without the WYD badge.

 

4. Admission to both Museums is free for WYD participants on the above days. No guided tours are available.

 

5. On the above days, there will be a specifically designed visiting route leading through the Castle interiors on the first floor and Orchid House but not all Museum facilities will be included in that route.

 

6. The visit organizers are responsible for informing WYD participants that they should leave their luggage at the place of accommodation. It is forbidden to bring luggage and beverages in any kind of packaging into the Museum area.

It is also forbidden to bring in coats, umbrellas and bags sized over 10 cm x 20 cm x 30 cm.

 

7. Visitors must open their luggage and submit to check with a hand-held metal detector if requested so by the Museum staff.

 

8. During the tour, visitors will have an opportunity to buy publications related to the Castle Museum of Łańcut (available language versions: Polish, English, French, German).
